I love the ambience, design, interior, concept and everything. This place is perfect for sweet escape from crowded city. Perfect for couple, but i think itsn't suitable for childen and older people. because have many stairs to explore the place. Overall i love the places and wish can go there again..

The room was awesome! We can hear the sound of running water (artificial river) from our room. It's so relaxing. The atmosphere also great with nature and artistic touch. There's some paints which made by artists that placed at some spot. We enjoyed our stay here. Input : Maybe the breakfast can be more various for the future.

saw this hotel while browsing about Lawang Wangi, the places was managed by same management and both are selling artsy space and cute looking decoration and design. people whp loved art space would rather love to stay here and people who loved to decorate their instagram with cute pictures would definitely love this place. I booked deluxe room and really happy with the room. the room was clean, bathroom was also clean with nice hot water, lightning was perfect, it feels homey. the room were not occuoied with air conditioner, but who need those artificial cooler when you got fresh and chilly air to feel your lungs with. breakfast was tasty, the staffs werw nice and helpful. Warung Salse (the restaurant where we ate breakfast) was located up high, that made this hotel was actually not too suitable for older people or young children. another idea, maybe the rooms can be made more soundproff, since the vehicles sounds are too loud and clear from rooms. but we've got a really nice time staying there. and I cannot wat for another stay!! thank you Villatel Salse..

A Hidden Paradise with great view. ”
it was already late when we arrived at the hotel but once we stepped in the hotel, i feels like living in Ubud. The surrounding and the view around the hotel makes me just wanna stay in the hotel. The bathroom does have a little bit of smell, but still OK. The food and the Breakfast is OK though. The Only bad thing is that the 1st Night we stayed there, there was a cockroach (a little sugestion: they should provide every room with insect repellent). Last but not least, VillaTel Salse still have some improvement to do but if i am coming to Bandung (Dago Area) , VillaTel Salse would be my 1st Choice.

Wonderful nature experience”
The Hotel is situated outside the town and you get nowhere whitout a taxi. It is a quiet an peacful place. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much. They are not used to western guests, so they speak very little english. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu for breakfast and dinner is provided only in bahasa, so that you have to help yourself with google translation. Try the restaurant rumah miring with a wonderful view just 5 minutes walking distance from villatel salse.

the place is great and so freakin cold in the morning. The downside is the traffic was superbad around dago atas/pakar, it take us almost 2 hours from villlatel salse to mcd dago intersection (on saturday around 4 PM).

It was anything but serene”
We were staying for 2 nights on the weekdays. When we arrived, the receptionist and the security were the only ppl there, but surprisingly friendly. The salse fulfilled my requested room. Unfortunately, on the first day the floor a lil bit dusty. The amenities were good enough. The view was what we expected to have. The jacuzzi didn't work till we left, it was also dirty. IDK if they shut it down because we were the only guest that time, or it was really broken. The breakfast was great, u had to choose from 5 or 6 main menus, extra egg (omelette/ sunny side), juice and free side dish (banana fried). When we arrived, they didn't inform us about the free massage. I asked about it, and unfortunately (again) the spa was under maintenance. On the last day, after we had breakfast, the friendly man who in charge for the garden informed us the spa was open (thanks to u, pak!!). And then we had the complementary free foot massage. The therapists were very friendly . My husband and I requested another extra back massage. I really disappointed with the front office. They knew that i asked spa for the first time, but still they didn't inform us when the maintenance was over. Our recommendation for salse : The front office should be more informative. About the facilities, they wouldn’t inform if we didn’t ask. And also, we had to request our breakfast coupon on the second day before breakfast, because they “DID NOT” want to give it on our check in day ( I also requested it but they said “we’ll give it later”). We were very uncomfortable with this, because I had to call front office two times until they picked up the phone. The spa need more spaces for women. We wouldn’t mind to have the massage in the villa room, but we think it will be better if salse provide a private room for women. (I have a common problem with privacy since I wear hijab) The villa room may need extra privacy from the neighbourhood. From our room, we felt the ppl living backward can see throu

this villa is quite cuteeee, love the atmosphere, the nature, the design of the villa. and warung salse is cuteeee too, so artsy! even the location is not too easy to get some kind of transportation, but i think its one of the good place in Bandung that u have too come.

villatel punya bangunan yang sangat instagramable. Buat kamu pecinta foto, setiap spot di villatel cocok buat dijadikan background. Fasilitas di dalam kamar juga lengkap. Namun, mungkin krn area tempatnya sudah adem, jadi memang tidak disediakan AC di kamar, but that’s acceptable, krn tetap dingin bahkan kedinginan, hehe. Banyak yg ngereview makanannya kurang bervariasi. Saya menginap disini 3 malam dan memang agak merasakan kurang variasi, but that’s all ok. Makanannya enak2 jadi walopun variasi masih kurang, sy tetap bisa makan makanan berbeda2 tiap hari. Hanya saja untuk ke restaurannya butuh effort lebih krn kudu naik tangga yg bikin ngos2an. But that’s upon our choice. Sy memilih makan di restonya krn mau sekalian foto2 krn spot fotonya bagus2 hehe. Tapi pegawainya sudah menawarkan untuk diantar ke kamar, if you want it, so don’t worry. Tempatnya dekat jg dg daerah wisata, I absolutely recommend to use motorcycle, menghindari macet dan bisa explore lbh daerah wisata disana :)

Lovely stay at VillaTel Salse. Cool mountain air and beautiful scenery from the the hotel restaurant. You must be fit to climb those stairs to the restaurant but a sumptuous breakfast and breath taking views await.

Nice Room, Bad Location and Surroundings”
We came here to relax and escape from the city. We expect a peaceful and serene environment. Sadly, it is not what we expected. The room was nice, modern design and clean. Unfortunately, the surroundings and room location that we're staying is very close to public road access. We can hear the noises from vehicles passing by and our balcony is very visible from the street. If we open our door to the balcony, people can see inside our room. We experienced lack of privacy here. When we're asking to be moved to another room that not facing the public road, they only have room with twin bed. We suggest Villatel to provide a double bed room that could give more privacy to the guests. The surrounding nearly have nothing to enjoy since our room is facing public road although there is small river beneath our room where we can hear the sound of water flows. There is a glass wall at the end of hall to the bathroom where (I think) the owner of the house across us can see through our bedroom. Again, no privacy. We suggest Villatel to put on a curtain there. The dinner at Warung Salse was good. The food and the ambiance. But to get to Warung Salse, we have to go all the way up. The access is not very friendly to get, too much stairs. The breakfast was not good. Thankfully we order the breakfast to be delivered to our room although it has additional charged. I cannot imagine how disappointed we will be if after we go to the restaurant which is very exhausting to get to, we found the food was not as good as we get for dinner. Overall, the place is not as good as we expected. But we enjoyed it as much as we can. Thank you.

A place to remember”
We spent a night at the hotel, we arrived pretty late but the staff welcomed us really nicely. We loved the surrounding, the nature, the restaurant, the breakfast, the arts and the style of the hotel. The staff at the restaurant were super nice!! The only thing this hotel can improve for the future was only the bed sheet. Somehow it felt damp and not too clean. Overall, we were glad to choose to stay in this hotel even just for a short visit. We sure will come back! Thanks Tel Salse!
