i very much enjoyed my stay at this hostel, the room is super cozy (double room with shared bathroom). Wifi also strong and stable. Need to take note the name of the hostel changed, is Walking Bed hostel shown outside of the building (not hello budapest)

three staff we met in reception, two pretty girls was really helpful and another one is rude ”
clean, good location, room is big, and due to the low season the price is good. We stayed for four days, met three girls in reception. Two pretty girls is really helpful, and another one is rude. I booked for 2days at first before we arrived, and want to extend another two days so i booked from agoda again. The rude girl said that i booked two different apartment from them so i need to move out in the third day and move again in the fourth day , i showed her my agoda booking that i booked, its definitely is the same room, even the address is the same. She said what she can see is we booked the different room, she keep saying that is not her fault , and i showed her my booking again, she talked very loud and asked me go contact agoda by myself and we must move out .Suddenly another staff is came out, she asked the rude girl about this matter, after me show her my booking in agoda, she said its Weird maybe system problem but definitely not my fault, so we can remained the same room for another two days. So,what happen for the rude girl and what is her insisted on ? yet the attitude is rude and impatient

Great Little Find”
We only stayed here one night but I wish it was longer. The young lady who checked us in was great. Made checkin very smooth and very helpful with directions to 2 local stores when I was in need of something. She also gave us a tour when checking in and explained all of the facilities to us, games room, kitchen, bathrooms etc which made us feel very comfortable right away. Room was large and clean(Double with shared bathroom) and the hotel is very secure with two security doors before you reach reception plus your room door. No hesitation to stay here again.

Location is just opposite the grand hall market, walking distance to a lot of great places, train station as well. The person who checked us in was a bit slow. The walls were really thin I guess. I could hear every single voice/movements from both rooms on my left and right, even when they snored in their sleep!

Experience in army”
If you didn't do the army. This one is the best opportunity to try this experience. Beds are tiny and uncomfortable. Toilets are something that you have to see and try!! If you think to be in a multicultural place you have to be prepared to deal with the owner for money. If you are happy about noise, army beds you will discover that the location is amazing. You are close to the market and the gellert baths. Shops and resturants are around the area. Hope you can choose something better but if you don't want to spend money is a good value

It’s one of the cheaper hostels in Budapest, so if you don’t expect a lot you’ll have a good time. Good location, Clean sheets, small individual lockers, Free towels, staff seem friendly. There are only 2 male bathrooms with shower and toilet combined so expect queues in the morning. the showers overflow onto the floor when guests don’t use the shower curtains properly so you might get wet shoes. There was water on the floor most times I used the bathrooms.

Sleeping in the walking bed, waking up like a walking dead ”
This comment is from my own perspective, not representing everyone because this was what I exactly gone through during these few hours of stay. I had a reservation for one night here, before I booked on Agoda, I’ve already write an email to this hostel to inform them that I require a late check out(around 12pm-1pm) because of the overnight bus to Budapest. Well, i understand it’s normal they cannot arrange it because they may have other guests, but I haven’t receive a single reply from them. Ok, I expected to arrive at the hostel at 4:30-5am, but turns out the queue was extremely long in the Serbia-Hungary boarder, ended up I arrived in the hostel at 6:30am. When I go check in, it was an old lady and she was so nice and tell me that I might check out at 12pm. So I got the key and settled my things, go take a quick shower and ready to sleep. And suddenly a guy, probably the manager of the hostel, entered the room and knocked my bed, saying that I cannot check out at 12pm as they have other booking, I need to leave by 10:30am, yet in an very impolite and rude way which makes me feel I am not being respected, and sounds like I am taking advantage of the hostel where all people in the room could hear that. I mean they definitely have the right to refuse my request, but it’s not appropriate to speak in such way. You cannot treat your customers like this. I hope that guy could see this comment and thinking how awful he was. Finally I checked out at 10am and didn’t say anything to him when I gave him back the key, I am always a polite person but he doesn’t deserve to be treated politely. Also, while I was sleeping, a demon kid screamed in the next building like every minutes and I woke up with headache, it’s probably my worst hostel story. You get what you pay for. Warmly reminder: sometimes just pay more to get a better place, don’t save these money and being suffered.

Staffz(thomas) were extremly friendly and coperative,even i had quit a short stay,as he exchange me some small euros to forints so i can catch the bus shutlle for plane on airport...next time when in budampest,definetly will visit and stay...quit great location,especially for people wjom travell bh plane,but ofc for others as well,but when in need to go to Franz Listz airport,direct line is 100m away...also you are connected from there to anwhere in city quit eaisly...great value for money...

The bed is right on the wall giving to the corridor where you can hear people entering the hostel, shuting doors, talking, ringing the bell. The rooms are quite old fashioned, the carpet was not hoovered, the bathroom floor wasn't very clean and the breakfast was really low cost, like in the summer camps during primary school; durable croissant, chewy bread (zsömle) from the day before, etc. We asked help from one of the receptionist for the coffee machine but he wasn't very helpful. All together, this place is ok if you are onlow budget and only going for a late night sleep.

mould on the walls and bedbugs”
This is one of the worst hostels I stayed in. The staff was very unorganised and could not find our booking. So they first wanted to move us in a room with mould on the walls. The air in this room was very humid and it was hard to breath. As they had only one free bed in this room and we had a booking for 2 persons, they offered us another room. On the first view this room seemed to be in a better condition. But during the night we had to realize that there were bedbugs in our room. We imediatly checked out but till now have not got any response of the hostel regarding a refund/compensation for the night that we haven't stayed.

Racism staff who have a beard as dirty as a root of onion on his chin. If you don't want to sleep on the street, you can stay for a day or so. so where are you from ? hug? ㅋㅋㅋ여기 절대 오지마세요 ㅋㅋㅋ
