This Ryokan was absolutely fantastic. Super clean, the rooms were great. Traditional with modern amenities. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. And being in the Yasaka neighbourhood, you are right in the middle of old Kyoto and a 30second walk from the Pagoda! Ideal location to get a traditional Japanese stay.

Very nice ryokan!!”
My wife and I had an enjoyable stay in the hotel. Situated at the shopping street, shops and F&Bs are just walking distance away. We had a great Kaiseki dinning experience and the food is top notch. Besides, the room was fully equipped and comes with skincare products, snacks and drinks including alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks all included in the room charges. A leisure room was also a highlight where travellers can read some books/magazines, games and enjoy coffee and matcha tea.

Good and recommended”
Booked 2 nights with Breakfast. Bath tub is small. Glad that mine come with a garden view. Breakfast is disappointing as we had almost the same dishes for 2 days. Location is best, can walk around the places of interest and take nice pictures. I would not mind going back to this hotel again if the rates are more reasonable.

Wonderful Attention to Details”
When we first arrived in the room, it was on the smaller side and there was not a lot of room for our belongings. We had prepaid for the room, and concerned we had overpaid. However, in time we discovered the details that made for a lovely experience (first time in a Ryokan). From the comfy beds, quality sheets, soft towels, comfortable robes and pajamas, amazing cedar bath and shower room, and nice toiletries, we were more and more impressed with the attention to detail. The location was central (about a 20 min taxi from Kyoto Stn. That cost 1,200 to 1,500 yen). We were able to walk to some of the sights we wanted to see very easily. The chef prepared lovely local fares, and while we were missing Western food a little, it was a really pleasant and authentic dining experience (and more than enough food). Very pleasant and accommodating staff which overcame the language barrier. One recommendation would be to email ryokan rules in advance so newbies can get settled in faster

We went for two nights originally with the Kaiseki dinner - unfortunately the chef was sick and we had to scale down to the non-Kaiseki meal - was kind of a shame

if you are seeking privacy and comfort, Yasaka-Yutone is the answer. Ideally located within easy walk of temples and quality shopping, it is a popular and busy quarter of town. Its historic buildings are wonderous. The staff at Yasaka-Yutone were attentive, obliging and friendly. Breakfast is authentic, haute cuisine Japanese. Expensive accommodation but would recommend.

今回、口コミが大変良かったので初めて宿泊しました。古い建物を生かした宿なので、１階に宿泊すると上の階の足音などが聞こえますが、まぁ、それも承知しておりましたので問題ありませんでした。お部屋のヒノキ風呂も大変良かったです。夕飯は特選会席を頂きましたが、どれも美味しく大変満足です。 また違う季節にお食事目的で泊まっても良いかと思える宿でした。

숙소 입구가 여긴가…? 싶었다 친절한 직원분들의 안내로 아늑하게 입장해서 아늑한 숙소에 묵었다. 신혼여행으로 플렉스하자! 하고 가이세키와 숙소를 예약했음. 맛있고 아늑하고 즐거웠다. 처음 접해본 가이세키요리 환상! 위치도 기요미즈데라와 니넨자카, 산넨자카와 가깝다. 동구리공화국도 가까워요 후후후 조굼 비쌌지만, 좋았다:)

트리풀 룸에서 숙박했는데 너무 좁아서 가방 하나 펴기도 힘들었어요.. 사진으로 너무 예쁘고 좋아보여서 예약했는데 정말 가격대비 비추입니다. 객실은 깨끗했지만 욕실은 추웠고 위치도 기온시조역에서 멀었습니다. 아침식사는 깔끔하고 좋았어요.. 여러모로 다음에는 숙박하지않을것 같아요.

服務人員態度很溫柔又很細心。房間雖不大但是精緻。走了一天的路能在房間內的檜木浴桶泡澡真的是一享受。旅館位置距離清水寺各景點很近。距離八坂庚申堂走幾步路就到。早餐很簡單但是很精緻。很推薦給想體驗京町家住宿的旅客。

Excellent location”
The hotel location is excellent. It is walking distances to many tourist spots. It is very clean. However, it does not have hotel sign which caused us spent more than 10 minutes to find it even we were already in front of the hotel.
