Nice cozy hotel, nice and beautiful staffs ”

Our family stayed comfortably in the room with futons. My moms enjoyed Onsen bath, my sister enjoyed the meal in the restaurant, and I feel the hotel is very suitable for the family with cozy ambiance , especially the male receptionists are both very kind and handsome like movie stars :D . Highly recommend!

Foreigners kindly speak to us in English”

The staff were very friendly and explained everything in English when we visited. They also kindly answered any questions we had. The hygiene was also good and the bathing facilities were clean. Most of all, they kept our luggage for the whole day, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend it to others. The location is also not bad.

Great Ryokan Rec! ”

Cool location! Walkable to Kyoto Aquarium and Station, while also being embedded in quiet neighborhood. Great spot to explore and feel like a local. My favorite feature was the bathhouse, it was inclusive and relaxing. Complimentary tea was delicious and yukatas were comfy. I'm really glad I stayed here, it was a nice change of pace from Kyoto. Tatami and futons are a pleasant must for your Japanese vacation~

Great place to stay while in Kyoto”

I'm not sure about other places in Kyoto, but as a first time, solo traveler to Japan. I say this is one of those places you have to try. It's a ryokan ( sleep on tatami mats) with an attached onsen ( hot spring public bath). Also there is a cafe resturant and massage parlor. If I had more time would of stayed another day to chill here ( stayed 2 nights). Please note the onsen is open to the public and is family orientated so there will be kids around ( but you don't really hear them unless your by your door)

Nice Onsen Hotel”

A decent and quiet onsen hotel for family get away. onsen facility is good. Nice tatami room, very cosy. they have their own restaurant and cafe. Massage service at a decent price. Convenient store near hotel.

Hidden Gem”

Pros: Excellent staff services ( although most can’t speak fluent English but they sincerely did their best to help patrons) Very clean room and facilities Like the restaurant which serve excellent dining options 10min Walking distance to the kyoto rail museum and aquarium as well as the JR train station Cons: In the middle of a residential district; little /none dining options outside the place Nearest family mart is 6min walk from the place About 2 Km from kyoto station - cost about 1000 yen cab fare to reach the place

Wonderful stay ”

Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Lovely and comfortable ryokan type accomodation with onsite onsen and delicious restaurant. Yummy green tea and treat provided in the room. A bit out of the way in terms of location and sights, but manageable.

Ryokan in city”

Small hotel with 30 rooms only. This is a city ryokan where you can take experience in Japanese Ryokan Style. We took dinner (Keisenki) at hotel and uesd public bath (onsen) and got experience in Japanese way. Location is in residential area and there is a family mart nearby.
